Ok what is the best way to get from Liverpool to Carbisdale Castle in Scotland? (Ardgay?) I have tickets to the Paul McCartney show on the first in Liverpool and have to check in on the second at the castle. Train or bus is fine. Im hoping that a train is possible. Thanks in advance.

IIRC, the nearest station to Carbisdale is Culrain on the north Highlands line (Inverness-Thurso).
From Liverpool to Inverness you can travel by train or bus. You'll probably need a change at Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The hostel at Carbisdale hold reservations until the arrival of the late afternoon train, which you should safely make if you leave Liverpool in the morning.
