what's the fastest way? we are arriving at milan's orio al serio airport via ryanair and would like to just make a daytrip to como before heading off to venice...tips would be much appreciated. thanks!

Train from Bergamo to Como usually takes 1h30-1h40, with a change of trains in Monza or Seregno, but there are many different variations. Sometimes you'll have to go via Milan, which will take a little longer.

Take the line that goes on the eastern shore of Lake Como. From Varenna you can take a boat to Bellagio or Mennagio.
