Hi Could anyone help me out with this problem?!!?? I will be going to Brussels in September. I will get my Benelux Tourrail Pass on the first day there,I will be travelling to Holland, Luxembourg, Liege and Harderwijk with the pass. Im not sure what I do about reservations. Do I try reserve the train journeys I want the day I get my Benelux Pass? Would a day or two notice be enough to book major train journeys ie. to Holland and Luxembourg? I dont know how much notice Id need to give to get the train times I need. Please any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I know on most high speed trains you must reserve, but do you really think you want to pay the extras? I personnally choose not to reserve if I don't have to and take the chance of maybe standing for 1-2 stops, there always is room after. If you are doing a really long journey, then reserve, cause a few hours standing or searching isn't the best! I really do think though that you shouldn't wast precious money on reservations that aren't needed, use it to discover the region! xoxo jen
