Hi,
I am travelling with a friend for two months and I want to buy two Interrail passes. We are planning to buy a one month 2 zone pass (E & F) then a 1 month Global. We are going to start in Eindhoven (6Aug) and work our way down to Spain for the Tomatino festival and then back to southern France by the time the first months pass runs out. Then visiting northern Italy , Prague, Munich (oktoberfest), Berlin and finally Amsterdam. My questions are.......
1. RailPasses: when do they begin & expire? I was going to book it on the interrail website but it asked me to state the start date of travel. Does this mean that both passes are valid only 1 month from this date?
2. How does the Itinery sound?(any additions i should make?)

Since most of the members here are non-Europeans we don't have experience with Inter-Rail... If you need to specify the date that your pass begin in advance, then enter August 6 for the first pass and September 6 for the 2nd... what's the problem? Your itinerary look too blurry to make any comment... according to my calculation you have 3 weeks from the start of the trip to Tomatina and I have no clue of any place you want to visit between Eindhoven and Bunol... not much information about the rest of the trip too... and why you need an all-zone pass? Is it necessary to go back to Netherlands at the end of the trip?

Your railpass starts on your first day of travel and is good for however long your pass goes for.
For example, you start your pass on Aug.1 - you have a 1 month pass, one month later it's done. Or, if you have 10 days of travel in a 2 month period, you can travel 10 days within 2 months. It just depends on the pass you get.
Maybe post the link of the pass you are looking at so we can take a look.
