Hi.
I am after some advice. I am heading off on a months trek around Europe with a friend on 10 August and i need a bit of help. I am in England and have booked a months eurail pass for all zones. My query is this: Having booked this how do we go about booking the individual train journeys and are we likely to incur extra charges? I know there will be extras for use of sleeper cars, but what about normal journeys. I was also wondering what the best way to book these was. It is a bit short notice, but i only came back off vacation yesterday, so have a lot to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not really sure how different it would be since you are from the UK and there are different rules, but for the sleeper cars, I think you have to make a reservation up 6 hours before departure. For the others, I think a few hours before will be suffice. However, if you know for sure at what time you leaving, make the reservation. The sooner the better.
Anyone that could agree, or correct this?
