Has anyone ever done an multiple day organized tour before? If so, which one and what were your thoughts?
Contiki, Paddy Wagon Tours, Toot Toot Tours, Irish Rover Tours, Stray Travel, Evans Evans Tours etc.

Contiki, Paddy Wagon Tours, Toot Toot Tours, Irish Rover Tours, Stray Travel, Evans Evans Tours etc. Kim I haven't done so thus far, because once I saw the price for the tours I thought might be interesting, I figured I could do it more cheaply on my own. I read Stray Travel has gone into bankruptcy. Contiki seems to be for 18-35-year-olds (with a strict age limit) who are really into a superficial tour and lots of partying. At least that's the stereotype. Two tours that do sound interesting are Haggis and Paddywagon. They use hostels and they are pretty cheap. If you don't take a car around the UK or Ireland, then it is hard to get to all of the points they hit by bus, at least without a lot of effort coordinating public transport. One drawback to many of the tours I have heard about - they require that you be an early riser and be on the bus by 7 or so. Not my style, for the most part. Two other tour providers that might be of interest: Kumuka and Rick Steves. I'd definitely consider a tour if I were heading to a Middle East destination.

This prolly isn't what you had in mind: but, i did a day tour con mis padres from Algecirus to Tanger. the "tour" just went from store to store! it felt like they wouldn't take the group on to more places until someone bought something. it was terrible! Has anyone ever done an multiple day organized tour before? If so, which one and what were your thoughts?
