hi all,
i'm located in Southern California, and not sure where to purchase eurail passes. i have found that raileurope.com sells all kinds of passes. of those of you who have purchased rail passes from raileurope.com, is it safe? are they dependable? often how long does it take to receive the rail passes?
if not raileurope.com, where else can i purchase rail passes?
thanks, johnny

Since you're located in the U.S., your best place to purchase Rail Passes would probably be Rick Steves (www.ricksteves.com). They are apparently one of the largest rail pass vendors in the U.S. (they are located in Edmonds, WA just north of Seattle). They are VERY experienced in European travel and travelling by rail, so would be able to advise on the best pass for your needs. Hope this helps. Have a great time on your trip!!!

I've purchased from Rick Steves and Rail Europe. Both came off without a glitch. RS gives you a free train travel video, which is interesting. Rail Europe had no giveawys, but didn't charge shipping, so was comparaple. [

If you buy your rail pass by clicking on the Rail Passes link above, you'll support this board.
