I have a plane ticket that departs Heatrow on July 27th at 3:25pm I will be in Holland prior to this date and I want to fly into London on the 26th or 27th. I found a cheap plane ticket that will get me into Gatwick at 9:15am on the 27th. Is this enough time to get to Heathrow from Gatwick including all the delays that come with airports???

I think it would be fine in almost all cases. What could mess it up would be some combination of the following: Budget flight is more than about 90 minutes late. There is extreme congestion on the roads. Personally I would fly in the night before, but I'm a worrywart  . On the Flyertalk.com forum, this question came up and most people thought four or five hours between Gatwick and Heathrow was sufficient time - if the flight was on time. |
