Dumb Q about Passes

Dumb question since I'm 99% sure I know the answer.

Say I went from Point A to Point B. Spent the day and in the evening went from Point B to Point C.

This is all 1 day on a rail pass right?

Sorry lol. I know it's dumb and I'm sure it covers the whole day and not just one trip, but just making sure.

yes, that's just one day on the pass. if you reach your final destination for the night by midnight.
