Hi there, I was just wondering what the cheapest place would be to fly into from canada (winnipeg) to europe?
london? paris?
Our route is pretty flexible, so If we could save some cash by flying into a certain destination and working from there, I'm sure it could be a possibility.
anyone?

I can make a suggestion to call a travel agent in your city... Ask them the same question, they should know the answer. I'm a travel agent in Vancouver, and I can tell you that from Vancouver, it is usually London, sometimes Amsterdam... but then again it could be other places if you book when there is a sale... Just call and find out!

Like Michelle said, it's so far been London for me, in Vancouver.
I think Winnipeg tends to be a little more expensive due to its location. If you want to put up with the hassle, there's the possibility that you could get a cheap flight to Toronto, and then get a cheap flight from Toronto to wherever. It's possible that is cheaper. But since these would be separate tickets, I'd suggest adding an overnight in Toronto in case the timing goes haywire.

I'm from Thompson MB, and have never seen an international flight (besides to the US) in the hours and HOURS I've spent in the winnipeg airport.
You can get $59 flights to toronto from the air canada website.

thanks for the links..

British Midland Airways Limited offers non-stop service

I love the Fare Watcher on their site. Except I can't get this deal for just a 1 way ticket, and I don't see anything about a OPEN JAW option. So maybe this is only for round trips.
