HI, i'm trying to compare point to point and passes, but on rail europe there is nothing I can find because the routes are not connected, On railsaver.com, the point to point is practically unfindable and then it's only return tickets! not what I want!
Here are the routes, would anyone know where I could find these prices, I did the research for my last trip on all sites and had no problem, but this time it's rough!
Brugges to Flanders (anywhere basically) Flanders to Antwerp Antwerp Cologne Aachen Luxembourg city Lux City to Normandy (anywhere basically) Normandy to Paris Sevilla Toledo Madrid Picos de Europa (anywhere) Picos de Europa San Sebastian San Sebastian to Gimmelwald
I'd like to make a stopover on my way cause it's pretty long
Gimmelwald Venice
I looked up interlaken but no connections either way!
Bologna La Spezia
Florence San Gimignano
San Gimignano Siena
Thanks everyone!

Did you check out railsaver.com to figure out what passes to use? Anyway, a good site is www.railtrains.com/ - Click on point to point and there you go. They seem to have a few routes Rail Europe doesn't and the prices are better

What would San Gimignano be?
Thanks moose for the site, it's giving me good info, but San Gimignon doesn't exist on there so any other ideas guys?
And to visit Flanders Fields, what city would that be?

It does exist, it's just under Poggibonsi S Gimigna (on RailEurope).
The problem is is that you are looking for direct trains when usually you have to take a train from A to B then to C. So the route A - C doesn't show up as existing as that's not how you would travel.
If you need to find out how you do something, do a search on Google for say "Train to Siena" or "How to Get to Siena" or something like that to find out transfer points.

For the Flander's field thing if you're wanting to do that tour you don't need to even go to a new town. As far as I know it's easily a day trip from Bruges, unless you're opting to do it yourself without the tour. (Kim says the tour is great and last I saw the price was about 66USD)

I heard about the tour too, but 66USD for a day, ouch!!! Thanks kim, i know that raileurope didn't work because of that, but on railtrains, they give you the transfers if there is no direct train, so that's why I was wondering! Thanks for the info guys!

Oh, the tour incluses entry fees to the sights as meals for the day. Shoulda added that even though 66 is still a bit pricey, it sounds very slick.

It is pricy, but there is no way you could do it all on your own. The things you get to see are just amazing.
We got to go in old nursing stations, stand in bomb craters way in the middle of nowhere, visit the graveyards, the monuments etc.
The guide and owner, Lode, is simply fascinating. Not being a history buff, this was my man's choice and I went along just for the hell of it and I was blown away!
It takes a whole day though so it's a good idea to pack a snack or two and some water, as well as wear comfortable shoes.

food too? Well, I guess if it's good it would be worth it, but that's like 100$ canadian, totally outrageous!
sorry about your broken finger moose!
I guess it's really from morning to night right? Does it start in Ypres or another city?

It leaves from Bruges, which makes it even less of a hassle to just stay there. But, Ypres may offer some greats thing, I really don't know. Oh and with the current exchange rate $66USD is $87CDN

Thanks Kim and all of you!
Well it does make more sense I guess! I will be in Bruges anyways and I'd hate to miss this cause i'm a WW buff!
64$ canadian, I guess I can pull it off! This all depends on if I'm backpacking or going while living in Europe! Gosh this is torture not knowing what will happen first!
