O.K., i've looked at just about every website I can imagine trying to find the cheapest non-stop from Dallas to London roundtrip in mid-May. So far, the best i've been able to find is around $530 on British Airways. I was wondering if anyone knew of where to look (besides Expedia, Travelocity, etc. mainstream places) for a better fare. Also, a friend will be traveling with me. Should we be able to obtain any type of discount for booking tickets & flying together? Both 21 & neither of us are students at the moment. Any help would be appreciated.

STA (youth, not student fare) showed $612. Hotwire showed $594, and you don't even know what airline till you book. I think you have a pretty good deal with British Airways.

I don't know what exact dates you're going, but I plugged Dallas - LGW into Hotwire for May 11/25 (randomly selected) and got a fare for $519.
Sidestep pointed out a US Airways fare for that time period for $473 total (so even better).

Since the time I started this thread, I found a flight on U.S. Airways for $476, $3 more than what you found when you looked for me (just when I thought it couldn't get ANY cheaper!). But thanks for looking for me though . Good guess by the way, those are the days I am planning on departing & returning!

Yeah... 300$ don't know where I got that. I think I mis-read your first post or something. Anyways, we bought our tickets online tonight from US Airways for 479.60 a piece. Can't believe we were able to find such a good deal. Thanks for the help you guys. Kinda nervous about this trip, but really excited at the same time, guess there is nothing to do about it now except prepare. ;D

That's a little freaky. Glad it worked out for you.
