Maybe you've checked them out before, but I just found a very good price from Dallas to London in mid-May with them. Actually, the absolute lowest I've found. $476.60 round trip . I have not checked prices on flights from other locations with them but I'm getting mine for dirt cheap compared to the other airlines. Give 'em a try. www.usairways.com

Seems to me I read just recently that they are adding several new European routes and are trying to build up their overseas business. Will try and find that article. Sounds like you fell into a great sale! Thanks for the heads up!

I just bought my tickets from travelcuts.com They cost me 527.96 (491 before taxes) flyign from new york to London on United something and returning from Rome on Lufthansa. I don't know if this helps, but after searching for various websites for flights, this was the cheapest.....Will be flying in June and it was with a student discount. However, if that is your total, u DEFINITLY got a great deal!!

Has anyone here flown U.S. Airways before? Last trip across the pond was on Continental & it was pretty nice. Do the U.S. Airways planes have the TV monitors built into the backs of the headrests also? Those are a must seeing as I can't sleep on planes. Just wonderin'.

Yes, I flew US Airways to Frankfurt in 2001. They have monitors in the headrests....very nice. A bit more seat room than on the foriegn carriers, too. I leave in about 8 hours for Germany!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippy!

I just flew to Paris and back on US Air and was so happy with it!! I flew Delta this past summer and Us Air was much better. Each seat has its own TV, and there were plenty of free movies to choose from. Also, both of my flights were not even close to being full so I had my own row both ways.... I'm sure as the high season picks up this will not be the case! I am returning to Paris in a couple of weeks and will again be flying US Air. $350 from Vermont to Paris roundtrip, which is a great deal!
