Hey guys,
I'm flying to Switzerland next month and I'm planning to spend a weekend in Munich with a day trip to Fussen to see the Neuschwanstein Castle and I've heard mixed informations on how to get there. So, I thought I would ask on here and see if anyone can help me. Some people say it took them around 2 and half hours to get to Fussen by train, others have told me it took them less than an hour. What's the fastest and easiest way to get there ??
Thanx for your help Marie

I took the same route, from Munich to Fussen. The train ride took 2 hours, but then you have to take a bus from Fussen (the bus picks you up right outside the train station) to another town 5 minutes away. I can't remember the name of the town, maybe Schwangau? Either way, it's incredibly easy to get to Neuschwanstein, and loads of backpackers go this route everyday. Just sit back and enjoy the view of the Bavarian Alps!

It sure is really easy, hardly any steps to take in order to hop on the bus! Don't worry about this part of the trip! xcoxo Jen
