I'm filling out the stuff for a 2 month pass and it asks date leaving North America but not date you start using the pass, does the date leaving N.A. double as date the pas starts? where do I chose when the pass starts?

Here's how it works:

The first time you use the pass, you will have to take it to one of the ticket windows in the station. They will fill in the date on the pass and validate it for you, then you will begin using it.

The pass starts the day it's validated so you don't want any earlier date on it or that will be when your 2 month period starts.

Are you talking about ordering your pass online that it asks for the date leaving N.America? That's just so they can have the pass to you in time - that would be your actual leaving date.

Your pass will come to you without a date on it.

one little FYI...you'll need to present your passport along with your pass when you go to validate it....just so you can be sure to have it handy.
