What would everyone suggest for a female to pack during September/October? From September 6th-23rd, I will be in London,Paris,Barcelona, Rome and then back to London. Then from Sept 25-October 15, I will be in London, Amsterdam, Germany, Switz, Austria, Rome, Paris and then back to London. I am gonna be able to swap some clothing and do laundry at a relative's house before I venture out for the second half of the trip. Also, the second half of the trip is a tour while the first half is traveling with a friend. Will I need a jacket/scarf/winter type clothing for the tour visit to Switz/Austria? Should I just stick with jeans and then layering my tops (tank top/long sleeve shirt/hoodie)? I am not a light packer and tend to have a casual/cute style. I understand I am there to sightsee, but I don't wanna look hideous in all my pictures..haha ;D
PS--Sorry if this sounds like a dumb/shallow post, but I am a first-time backpacker...haha

SKP, not a dumb question - if you look through previous Posts in this thread you'll see it's a common concern!
Autumn/Fall weather can still be lovely during the day but cooler at night so you'll need a light jacket to deal with that. But you're on the right track with layering - perfect approach. And if you're not a light packer you will be if you have to carry it all in your backpack! ;D
It does rain at that time of year but not for days on end so just again just a jacket. I'd also take one sweater/jumper/fleece as sometimes the days can be cool if it's overcast.
