I've been pricing flights to Italy for this May and have found some reasonable fares into and out of the same city, but I think my fiancee and I would rather fly into Milan and out of Rome. The flights I've checked for this route are far more expensive. Does anyone have experience finding deals for multiple city ittineraries?

Sean What search engine are you using? Have you tried Expedia or Travelocity? We've done exactly what you want to do and the price was the same. There should not be huge jump in price for what you want to do, but these days it seems like anything goes. What is your home town?

I've always found terrific pricing on open jaw tickets from travelteam out of Seattle,,,believe Cil has had good luck there as well. On one trip I got a much better price from them into London/home from Paris than I could get anywhere else for straight round trip. Give them a try.

I actually ended up booking a flight through lowesttravel.com into Milan from San Francisco and the return flight is from Paris to San Francisco. I booked the connecting flight from Rome to Paris through Ryanair. I'm now get to stay in Paris for two nights and I saved about $400- doing it this way!
