how do I get from Lux to Berlin??

ok, so I'm working on my itenerary and I see its 8 1/2 hours train between Luxembourg and Berlin and there is no direct route between them! Then I checked out ryanair and they dont even have a flight to Luxembourg. Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do to get out of Luxembourg. I know they dont have a large population, but I dont want to get stuck there and become one of them!! ;D

another option can be to go to Brussels, and fly from there. (Brussels Airlines)

But why are you visiting Luxembourg in the first place? There is not a lot to see. For towns, I would rather pick Vianden (also in Luxembourg.)
