I'm trying to figure out the best transportation methods for each leg of my trip. For the London to Paris leg, I've decided I'd like to take the Eurostar. It seems fast, convenient, relatively inexpensive, and enjoyable.
However, I'm a little unclear about pricing. Eurostar.com quotes $75 no matter what. Raileurope.com, on the other hand, says I'm eligible for a 2nd class Youth Tier 3 ticket if I travel Mon-Thur between 11am-3pm for $45, and a 2nd class Youth Tier 2 ticket any day of the week between 11am-3pm for $60.
I need to travel on a Saturday, so I'm thinking the 2nd class Youth Tier 2 ticket for $60 is my best option. Does this sound right?
Also, this is another topic, but the next leg of my trip, Paris to Nice, I'm thinking of going with EasyJet for ~$54 USD as opposed to taking the train for ~$100 USD. Has anyone used EasyJet for this trip before? Is it easy/cheap to get from the airports to the center of these cities?
Thanks so much.
