Could this possibly be right? I've heard so much about Ryanair as a cheap alternative to taking the train. I just checked out a flight from Frankfurt to Venice and it gave me the price of 5.99 Euro (which works out to a bit over $7 USD....is that right? I know it's before taxes and fees, but even so that's extremly cheap. What's the catch? I mean, isn't it cheaper to just use them to fly most places rather than take the trains...what gives. Just curious?? thanks

Ryan Air et al frequently run fares that low or lower. It's advertsiing to them. If you find one that meets your needs, buy it!
