Hi all, I will be going to St Gallen this may. Will like to travel to Italy as well and my schedule goes like this:
St Gallen - Venice Venice - Florence Florence - Rome Rome - Zurich (Most Prob will require a sleeper)
Is the Eurail 5day flexi pass the cheapest option? I have only 4 days of travel so will like to ask around if any can suggest a cheaper alternative?
Eurail Youth Pass cost $249USD while the Italy's 5 day pass cost $190USD but I will need to pay for the Rome-Zurich and St Gallen-Venice trip, so it doesn't seem to make much sense.
Advice from the seasoned travellers appreciated!

Did you check the cost of P2P tickets?
Travel in Italy is not so expensive... Venice to Florence and Florence-Rome should cost about 30 Euro each...
