Can we make reservations for the train online or do we have to line up and make reservations when we get to the train station in Europe.
On average how much does it cost to reserve seats for the train?
Correct me if I am wrong but we have to make reservations for high speed trains right?
Thanks,
Mark

Yes, when you buy a rail pass on line most sites also make reservations for day trains and sleepers. However, on line res. cost more than in europe. Buying in Europe allows more flexability but requires lining up at the proper window. Res. in either case are nonrefundable.
