I thought it would be fun and interesting to have a thread of postings concerning hauntings in Europe. Do you know of any haunted sites? Haunted hostles, hotels, castles,etc.? Surely as haunted a history as Europe has had, there have to be some PERSONAL EXPERIENCES come from it. Go ahead, post it here, this will be great!

Well I have hed that Leap Castle in Ireland is very haunted as well as the Edinbrugh Vaults. Theres a men ghost there who yells at you to get out and pushes you. Along with alot more. Chillingham Castle in Northumbria England is also said to be haunted by ghosts. Some say its the most haunted Castle in England. And theres the Island of Povelia (i think that may be spelled wrong) just off the coast of Venice.
There in the 14th century the city would send the dead and dying (of the plague) and thus becoming haunted. Then in around the 19th century a mad doctor set up crazy and brutal exsperiments of people who were dying of TB ( and those who saw the spirits of the plague victims). So suffice it to say its pretty damn haunted. Hope this helped! Happy spook hunting

Okay, I'm not a supernatural freak or anything... but I do like this topic!
Not sure if it ever aired where you are, but there used to be a TV series "Scariest Places on Earth" and Leap Castle in Ireland made it on the place. Wow, the story they told about the castle made my skin crawl.....
If you make it there let me know what you find!
