Hi!
Does anyone know how to reach Innsbruck from Fuessen (by train)? Is it possible to use the bayern ticket?

i think this came up before. there don't seem to be many trains running to/from Füssen? it's mostly just buses. in any case, to get to Innsbruck one must pretty much go via Munich.
i don't think that bavaria ticket would get you all the way to Innsbruck, as Innsbruck is in Austria. but, it should get you most of the way, at least to Rosenheim. from there South, you might need to pay cash.

how about Salzburg..were just actually looking at some side trips at Austria from Fuessen since we thought they were quite close

didn't see this untill just now. Salzburg, like Innsbruck, is in Austria. so, the bayern ticket wouldn't get you all the way to Salzburg. it would get you at least to the Bavarian town of Freilassing, a 7 minute ride from Salzburg. probably would cost no more than a few € to go that last 7 minutes on the train.
