I want to make sure I get this right prior to buying any passes.

If I understand it correctly, say I buy the 4 day pass, I can hop a train and go all over France and Europe. Each day I boardd a train that counts as one day. So say I get to Paris, hop a train to Normandy. That's one day. The following day I hope a train back to Paris, that's 2 days. I spend two days in Paris then hop a train to Madrid, that's my third day. Spend one day in Madrid and hop a train to Murcia, that will be my 4th and last day. Am I correct on that?
