Hey all,
Near the end of my trip, and I'm looking for the CHEAPEST way to get from Paris to London.
Similar to the thread of the member going from London to Paris, I have missed the window for a cheap flight.
I thought maybe 'bus-ferry-bus' might work. Any ideas on price, or other means of getting there? Thanks!

if you have a eurail pass, maybe the eurostar is an option? you're supposed to get a discount (how much i don't know).

Ahh, right. I should have mentioned that my railpass expired last week. Thanks, though.
Anybody know a) how much the ferry goes for, and b) how long it takes?
Thanks everyone.

The usual crossing from the Uk to France is from Dover to Calais. It takes just over an hour. I did a quick search and found fares for just over £20. Try looking on www.directferries.co.uk for more infor on times and stuff. The ferries are run by P&O ferries or SeaFrance Ferries. To get from London to Dover you could get the train from Victoria station to dover priory station for around £20. But you will need to get from the train station to the dock. I think there is a local bus service. You can probably travel to Dover by Bus but it will take double the time. Try looking on the Stagecoach website for more info.

DOH!!! Just read the title of your thread Paris TO London. I suppose the same applies but just in reverse.
