I posted this on another couple boards, but it really seems like a great deal for Canadians, so I have to post it again.
I read these codes in the newspaper this morning. Zoom Airlines flies between major Canadian cities and UK cities, as well as Paris.
Go to www.flyzoom.ca .
On the home page, enter the Promotions code CF2006ZA if you want to book a 2006 flight between certain dates, and CF2007ZA if you want to book a 2007 flight between certain dates.
If there are two of you, the flight price (but not the taxes) for the second person is free.
Choosing applicable dates at random, I found that total airfare, including all fees, from YVR-LGW is just under $1100 for two people - or about $550 CAD all-in per person.
The challenging part, for many people, is finding that second person who can travel at that time.
