Im going to Europe for 2 months give or take but I hate summer heat. Im a cold weather person so i decided to leave some time in september and i was just wondering if anyone knew of any great festivals or places to visit during the fall. I am aware of oktoberfest (duh) but i cant find much else. Being my first time i am just doing major cities with maybe a couple small side trips. Any reccomedations?

Nuremberg, Germany has it's city fest. In Germany and many other countries, there are a lot of Christmas festivals starting at the end of Nov or beginning of Dec. that can be very interesting if you're there at that time!
Besides that, I don't know any other ones, but maybe ask Kim, she always posts the festivals on the first page of the site, maybe she can help! xoxxo Jen

Well if you hate the summer heat I would suggest northern europe like scandinavia but not in the autumn. Try the north of sweden during summer. I promise you will not regret it. Took some pictures on a trip I usually took during my staying in Haparanda(just below arctic circle near border to finland) summer 2002. The air is fantastic, the light is very special(be aware of adjusting the camera lens and use ASA100). Please take a look here www.drivrutiner.net/eng/happis/index.htmlhope you get a good trip

I don't know how much you like to party but you might think about Oktoberfest in Munich. Its pretty big and depending on what you like, might be fun just to check it out.
