Please help! I want to take a night train from Munich to Venice, but the only one I can find is an NZ train...would the fare be covered by my Eurail pass, or would I need to pay the fare AND the supplement? I really want to take the overnight train because we only have 2 nights in Venice, so if we spend the whole of the first day travelling there from Munich we will only be left with a day! Any ideas??

Would a very cheap flight from Munich to Venice, with www.hlx.com sound good? (40 euro for a ticket on 19 may departure at 9.55 in the morning, arriving at 11.10)

Herrbert, you are an absolute star!!
Thank you SO much, I am definitely going to book a flight - cheaper AND faster!! I couldn't find one on any of the other low-cost airlines, so the train was actually a last resort!!
Thanks again ;D
