best way to do this? unfortunately im going about 10 days before vueling starts this flight........train or plane i dont care, best ive found is $153 train ticket.....any help is appreciated!

If looking for the cheapest roundtrip ticket didn't work, on Thalys.com , consider taking the bus with Eurolines.com - it will take a fair bit longer, but should be cheaper.

Eurolines bus will take around 6h-7h30mins, Euro36 (or Euro28 if there's a promotion fair on)
Thalys fast train will take just under 4hrs
Flying will take 45mins (not including travel to/from airports and check-in time) but obviously not with Vueling. Check Lufthansa, KLM and Air France (and I think British Airways have the odd flight), however these are more expensive airlines (unless they are having specials - worth a look at least).
The best method is up to you - budget vs time.
