I purchased the eurail select pass saver for 4 countries. How much extra are overnight trains? I will be using one for my husband and I from Madrid to Barcelona, Barcelona to Paris and Interlaken to Nice. Also which trains are extra money in addition to my pass? On a side note, I keep getting an error message (the site cannot store my information) when trying to enter destinations on the swiss rail site. Any ideas why? YOU ALL ARE THE GREATEST HELP!!! Jenn

jnnfsil, I'm assuming that you're referring to the cost of a Couchette for both of you? I'd have to check to get some idea of the costs. Hopefully one of the others will have a "quick" answer for this? I'm assuming that you're referring to the reservation fee? Since I don't know exactly which trains you'll be using, I'm not sure I can answer that? The train from Barcelona to Paris will undoubtedly have a reservation fee (as you'll be using the TGV), but I'm not sure about the others. With regard to your problem using the Swiss rail site, could you elaborate on the destinations you're trying to enter, and the messages that you're getting? I generally use www.bahn.de for checking rail journeys. Although it's the German site, there's a wealth of information there. Hope this helps?

Although you have already bought a pass, I would suggest taking a look at Vueling Airlines for a flight between Madrid and Barcelona. (it's only 20 euros).
I also can only discover OT's that are taking way longer then the normal 4 hours they need in de daytime. At night they all are around 10 hours.
One last tip on Madrid, it's best to choose Chamartin as the station you depart from. If you choose Atocha, then you need to change trains at Chamartin anyway.
