Just curious about train station lockers - about how big are the, and how much do they cost on average? I know it depends but just want to know what the average is, or what you've seen.
Mostly interested in train stations in switzerland, germany, and austria

Some stations no longer have lockers due to security reasons, so it just depends on individual stations. The lockers that still exist are usually two sizes - small (briefcase/day bag) or large (suitcase/backpack) and cost around Euro4 per day. If there are no lockers, there might be a "left luggage" storage area where you often have to leave a copy of your passport and pay before you leave your luggage there. These are open, generally, from 6am to 10pm and can cost around Euro7 for the day (this, of course varies). Again, there is no guarantee of these facilities at each station due to security issues. If you do find them, don't leave anything valuable (cameras, passport, credit cards, etc) in your luggage, just in case.
What stations in particular?
