Hi everyone, I want to book two tickets from Munich to Venice on the NZ overnight train. On the website, they say you can book online and they email the tickets to you in PDF version. Are these e-tickets actually acceptable on the train? I Has anyone booked Deutsche Bahn tickets online before? I stay in South Africa so booking the tickets through a DB agency is not an option... Hope someone can help!

Yes I have booked the tickets you can print out yoursel and had no problem with them. You need to take ID and the credit card you purchased the ticket with on the train. I have done the same thing with KLM airlines who let you print your own boarding pass...however if you are in doubt I think there's an option when you buy tickets off the website www.bahn.de for them to mail the tickets to you...at least there used to be...
