My best friend and I are planning a trip to Europe this summer. We would also love to go to Morocco. Is it very difficult to travel between Europe and N. Africa? Should we save Morocco for another trip? I would appreciate any tips or stories...let me know if it seems like a worthwhile trip. Thanks, Joanna

How long do you have for your trip? What other places do you want to go? I haven't been to Morocco, but the first thing that comes to mind about a summer trip is the heat!

We are planning between 6 weeks and 2 months. We would like to go to Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, England, Wales, and Denmark. Wow, once you write it all down it sounds like too much.
We would also being leaving late May or early June, but we don't mind the heat.

Morocco is absolutely amazing. I went there a couple of years back and had a great time.
The best way to get there is the fast ferry from Gibraltar to Tangiers. There's also other ferries from the La Linea area- these go to Ceuta (which is a Spanish enclave in N Africa) and Tangiers.
