I can't decide which railpass to use. I'm really short on money for this trip, and I'm under 26, which saves a little. But my problem is that I don't really understand how to tell which of the youth passes is ultimately cheaper and more convenient. I'm going for about 75 days and I won't be traveling daily, but the most days spent in any one place would be 5. I really appriciate anyone who helps me, ~Mar~

Give this a shot. Much better than any other rail pass suggester I've seen mentioned around: www.railpass.com/new/railsaver/railsaver.asp**Whoops I posted the wrong URL. It has been corrected. It's pretty much exactly like the one Eagle linked to.**

rissama, in addition to the site suggested by magnav0x, you could also try www.railsaver.com - if you enter your rail Itinerary into the website, it will suggest the most appropriate and cost effective Rail Pass. It will indicate which days to use your Rail Pass and which days to use point-to-point tickets. Happy travels!
