I just read an interesting story that B.A. is the target of a class-action lawsuit by passengers over lost luggage. According to story the suit would represent every person who had their luggage lost or delayed over the past few years --- and considering B.A.’s problems at Heathrow, that could be quite a large number. Most interesting is the claim in the suit that B.A.’s liability should not be limited to the $1,500 cap. visit www.hbsslaw.com for more information

I recall seeing something on the news a week or so ago, regarding this issue (can't recall if they were referring to Alitalia or B.A.?). Apparently baggage handlers in one of the airports were deliberately smashing and misplacing luggage, to protest a poor contract settlement or low wages.
If that turns out to be true, the airline should definitely be fined!!!
