So I'm back in the States, though a bit bitter about that, although I'm not going home until September. Anyway, I had a great trip. I saw some of the more out-of-the way places that I wouldn't have gotten to on my own or with other foreigners. Some of the highlights from Prague were walking the Charles Bridge, touring St. Vitus Cathedral and other attractions at Prague Castle, sitting at night in front of the deserted St. Vitus Cathedral talking for hours then walking back down the hill to see fireworks over the Vltava, drinking beer at an outdoor pub in Old Towne Square, seeing the Josef Sudek gallerie, touring the Jewish Quarter including the Jewish Cemetery (most photographed place in Prague depsite the fact that photography is prohibited), watching a street performer get arrested for something (probably a visa violation), and just spending hours wandering the streets and countless art galleries.
Highlights from the rest of the country include Karlstejn Castle (spelled wrong - sorry), several little towns around Bohemia - most of which I can't spell without looking at a map, a few other castles, and a beautiful national park. I got a free after-hours private tour of one of the castles, I got to eat a couple of meals with Czechs who were only speaking Czech, I got to try slivovic, I got really sunburned, and I got caught in a hail-storm that caused bruises.
That's just a breif overview. I had a great time. I need to go back.

Paint, I'm glad the trip went well despite the various hurdles you had. I hope to hear more about it.
