I'm taking my two months summer break from medical school and going to Europe....only problem is I have no clue what I'm doing. I plan on traveling throughout most of western europe because I have to see the french open, wimbledon and run with the bulls. Aside from that, however, I am looking for other MUST SEES in England, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy or Scotland. Any information is extremly helpfull even if it's just a website or book I should check. My interests are almost everything.

Hi! Well, I must say, you're lucky! You're at the step of planning I love! You've got an excuse to read every website, every guidebook that exists eheheh you need to find where to go! Ah I love that!
Now, what I first suggest is telling us what your interests are, but mostly, maybe going through the City and Country advice section of the boards in order to see ideas on places that other people have posted about. Also, the "Just Back Reports" can be interesting too, it gives you an insider's view on the cities, so you can decide where you want to go!
As of a guidebook, everyone has their favorite! I like Lonely Planet, but there are TONS more! Why not check out your local library and see what they have to offer on the travel subject? You may be surprised!
Lets us know what your interests are, we may be able to help you a little more!
xoxo Jen
