and that's 4AM Saturday in my part of the world...
I would appreciate it if future chat will be at more convenient time...
Edit to add: On a second thought... if it has to be at that time, then Friday night/Saturday morning is the best day...

We have to go with the majority and unfortunately, most people don't live in your part of the world that use this site. There is no real way of making it work for everyone.
You can log in and see if anyone is chatting at any time though, these are just organized group chats.

If there's something I really don't miss, is chatting online with people from "this neck of the woods", as you say... And honestly, I can live happily without this chat (hope no one is offended)...

why did you make an issue of the time??? If you are not interested then why give Kim grief over being somehow excluded time wise? I am interested, but it's not so important that I'll stay awake till 4AM for that... but sometimes I am awake at 4AM so you may be surprised... And perhaps you missunderstood my latest comment... I mean I have enough opportunities to communicate with travelers from my country on other forums, in particular the one that I moderate...

okay, I'll bite.....which one is that? Which forum? It's in Hebrew, so I guess you can't read it, but it's here: www.lametayel.com/forums/forums.aspIIRC, "my" Europe forum is 2nd from top.

You're right....couldn't read it. Great big kudos for being bilingual! I'd have never know English was your second language.....and I mean that as a true compliment! Was just curious to know what other sites you are involved with. See you on ET now and then. You know... many people tell me that so it's probably true... Also, I speak English without any Israeli accent... When I meet Israelis abroad most of them don't recognize me as Israeli! I recall a funny incident at Paris... on the last day of my trip I visited the Conciergerry (sp? my French isn't so good...) and there was a group of Israelis there... I started a conversation with them in English and they would probably never know I'm Israeli unless I told them where my flight that evening goes... On another occasion... when I visited Istanbul I went to see a football game between Besiktas (read: Beshiktash) and Hapoel Haifa from Israel in the European champions league. I pretended to be an English tourist and bought a ticket to the Turkish supporters main stand... you can imagine what might happend if they suspected I'm Israeli... It was fun, except that I couldn't cheer when the Israeli team scored... BTW: I got the maximum score in the English section of University entrance exams and was exempt from English classes. Unfortunately, English is only 20% from the test and my marks in other parts of the test were good but not excellent (the other scores were 130 and 129 from 150, and the overall mark 691 from 800. This is 93-94% from the people that take the test, but not good enough for most high-end programs)

Was just curious to know what other sites you are involved with. See you on ET now and then. Yes, big handshake... not that I am conceived or anything like that, but I met a lot of Israelis while in Europe and i was surprised of how well they spoke English specially when they don't live in an English speaking country. It surprises me because from personal experience, I know that if you are not forced to use a foreign language, you will never get good at it; and the people I met lived in Israel full time and their English was very good. I have been living in the US for 12 years and I still can't quite speak English as good as I should... and to top it all off, I getting an "american accent" when speaking my native tongue! Bara
