are these sandals good enough???

why don't you just bring a decent pair of flip flops along with your shoes and sandals? they're relatively inexpensive, light, and you don't have to worry bout the floors of those shared bathroom stalls at hostels...u can probably get them at k-mart, target, walmart, etc. for like 3-4 bucks.

Yeah, I agree with the flip flops. Get a cheapo pair that if you find that you aren't using, you can just throw away.

Depends on your level of comfort really. I have a bit of an issue with cleanliness and if a shower looks kind of gross, I don't want to have my feet touch it. Lots of people are fine with it though. Have to say, didn't run into too many that I had to wear my sandals in, surprisingly enough.

I agree with Kim. I'd be wearing a pair of sandals in the shower, your feet may thank you later. I had a friend who didn't use sandals and to make a long story short, he doesn't like taking showers barefoot anymore.

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I will get a pair of cheap flip flops - fungus is no friend of mine. I have a weird complex about my feet being dirty anyway...
