OK, OK.. I admit it-I got two wrong...! The Kashmir one I didn't know and I goofed up on my choice on where Afghistan was. I should have done it by process of elimination!
I thought the most basic question was what point is the furthest East-they give you the compass point right at the bottom! (Canada and the US weren't terrible for that, at 80% correct and 70% correct but did you see the scores for Mexico? 29%)

I read about this in their latest issue which had a mini quiz, just picking different countries off a map similar to the final 7-10 questions on this internet quiz. I got 20/20 on that, but I wouldn't call it bragging... how can you not find the US or the Pacific Ocean on a Map, you'd have to be living in a hole, or even find the most western city on a map... it's not like you needed a magnifying glass. I can't believe the stats on the Sweden question, every country was around 30 percent i think except Sweden and Germany. And what's with this, only 25% know the population of their own country? geosurvey.nationalgeographic.com/geosurvey/templates/answer_1_1_1.html... I'm sure I could pick away at most of these questions and the terrible results for quite a while.
