 im going to europe after i grad school and i am kinda paranoid about my camreas and laptop should i bring them with me or just leave them at home? and should my friends and i send things home that we dont need?

Hi....we've discussed the laptop issue in great deail and the general consensus is no. If you'll do a search on 'laptops' you can read all the various comments. Cameras likewise are a big forum here...in fact they have their own.....just browse through there for info.

I don't know why you'd want to bring a laptop (I rarely take mine away with me). It's just something else to be worried about.
With regards to cameras, I'd chance it. I've never had a problem - most hostels have lockers where you can put expensive stuff like a camera, also I've never had a problem charging my camera in a hostel. Just make sure that any battery chargers are dual voltage and that you've got the appropriate plug for them.
