Nah......here in northern Florida we were/are fine. Totally amazing how well NYC folks seem to have dealt with this! Others as well, but of course here in the states the city gets the most coverage.

interesting enough that I lif in central NJ and I had power throught the whole ordeal. what makes it interesting is that Maryland and even Delaware have reported to be without powere at some point.... life went on as normal  |

Well I guess the people without electricty won't be able to answer your post...heheheh!
I missed it by miles and I am pretty glad. We are now totally dependant of electricity and it could become scary to see how we have troubling surviving without it.
Our grandfathers did...funny thing, must of been pretty different...!
This whole thing reminds me of our ice storm a couple years back. We didn't have electricity and heating for a big while, my whole family actually stayed at my uncle's he was the only one to have electricity, but he lived in a 3 and a half appartment...
best memories of laughs though,
I hope those touched these days took time to spend it at candlelight laughing with their loved ones, it's the best way to use up the "lightless" time!

Our Internet at work went down but that's about it.

Talk about a frustrating few days! Didn't have water all day friday.
But things are finally getting back to normal here.
Hope everyone else made it through ok!
