Saw this movie last night - really good if you like a good heist film, like I do.
Some gorgeous scenes of Venice, made me ache to go back to Italy!

I really enjoyed "The Italian Job" also. The story moved along quickly, and lots of great action (the chase with the Mini's in the subway was worth the price of the ticket). I think it's a remake of a similar movie made in the '60s. The scenery was great, although I would have preferred more Italian scenery. The plot seemed to relocate to the U.S. fairly quickly.
Should be out on video/DVD in a few months. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
