Weekend plans?

What did you guys do or are going to do this weekend?

I went over to Saltspring, which is another island 30 min. by ferry from where I live for the day today. Beautiful, incredibly hot day. We had some lunch and went to a market there before heading home.

Tomorrow I'm going with a bunch of friends out for an all you can eat brunch at a gorgeous restaurant on the ocean - we are spoiling ourselves as it's way more than we usually pay for food! I can never seem to eat enough to make it worth while, which sucks!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to do anything quite that enjoyable this weekend. Today (Saturday) I worked a 12-hour dayshift. Tomorrow I have to do my weekly grocery shopping (it's the only opportunity I will have for the next few days), work on renovations and then work a 12-hour night shift. Not very exciting, but that's the reality of being a shift worker (I have to pay for my trip to Europe somehow).
Hopefully I'll get a chance for some R & R time next week.
