I wanted to see if anyone has recommendations for a good basic policy for when I'll be in Western Europe for 3 weeks. Something which covers any sort of treatment for injuries, or illness. Maybe dental as well.
In addition, is there any sort of coverage for theft, burglary, etc? I'm not taking a lot of expensive stuff, but it will still be enough to insure I think.
Any suggestions?

I went through Scotia Bank (my bank). It was $75 for full coverage for 45 days. You can also try through travel cuts. But if your parents have benefits from work (or you for that matter) you can try to see if travel insurance is covered. Dont forget!!!

Work insurance usually covers you on your travels, so check with your employer or your parents! Also I know that my VISA card also has a medical insurance.
Check with your housing insurance, I just found out mine covers me for baggage lost or theft, for no extra charge.
If you're looking for a policy check out STA travel for a student policy, or you can usually be insured by your bank, or go to CAA (or AAA) or even your school insurance, I can take an extra travel insurance from my university policy. Plenty of options!
