Feb's Photo Contest

Hi guys,

Just giving you time to prepare as Februarys contest is a photo contest!

There are categories for those who have been to Europe and those who haven't.

You may submit one photo for each category (Watch the main page at www.guideforeurope.com for how to submit as of Feb. 1)

Here are the categories:

Beach Scene (must have been taken in Europe)

Famous Monument or Attraction (must have been taken in Europe)

Food and/or Drink (must have been taken in Europe)

People (must have been taken in Europe)

Odds and Ends (this can be anything but must have been taken in Europe)

For those who haven't travelled to Europe yet, there are categories for you as well!

Your travel gear (can be of your pack, what you are taking etc.)

What makes where you live the reason why after your travels are over, you want to come home. This can be a scenic shot, a shot of your family or friends etc.

Odds and Ends - a travel photo from anywhere else in the world, besides Europe.

I'm really looking forward to this contest and hope there are lots of entries!!

Hey Kim, I think this is an excellent idea you've come up with and will be fun just to see all the great photos no matter who wins the contest!

I might choose some honorable mentions as well, to display some more of the pictures. Not going to post them all but I'm sure some that don't win will still deserve to be displayed.

Yes, this is Februarys contest. The contests are always a month long.

I'm trying to get them together and then find a friend to scan them! By the last day I should be posted...hehehe!

Jen....take your pics to any Kinkos, Costco, Sam's...most any one hour developing. The can scan them for you and put them on disc so you can email them. It's not a big deal and faily cheap too.

Thanks Dustoff! I know it's no biggy, it's just that I don't have a computer at home, so even if they put them on a disc, I can't put them on the net till I juggle with my boss, anyways, I'm not worried, she said I could scan them at work as long as it's not on work hours so... hihi sorry to have exposed these issues to you!
