Just was wondering how everyone stumbled across here, it would be interesting to hear? Search engine, friend... My favorite is Melody, who was a seller on Ebay I was going to buy something from. She noticed the guideforeurope.com part of my email address - we emailed back and forth and I pointed her this way. (See, I can round up new posters and shop at the same time! So.. how did you find us?

Hi Kim,
I saw your signature on the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree message boards and checked out and bookmared your site. I then forgot about it but months later I saw the bookmark again and switched loyalties for good. ;D

It's been so long ago I honestly don't remember. ;D But as I was doing early research for my trip at the time I feel pretty sure it was a link you posted on a 'competitor's' site that we both used to frequent.

I don't even rember what year I joined! But I was one of the early ones, I know. Saw Ginger and a lot of the other regulars post for the first time, anyway. ;D I think I joined in a simular way, I used to visit another site and saw your replies there with this link. Joined here and never looked back! Cat

Nope, I've always done everything, including the site design and graphics, on my own. Recently, I had our new logo professionally designed which was the first thing I didn't create. It was weird!
When the boards started getting busier, I needed help which is where Ging, then shortly after, Patrick, came along (thank god!).

And I'm back! ;D My Internet connection has been messed up for weeks it seems - not letting me get to certain websites (this being one of them). I found guideforeurope when reading an article in the Toronto Star travel section about the website shortly after a trip to southern Europe. I think I might still even have the article.
