I thought we had the game in the bag after the 4 goal lead.... Then I was gripping my seat, and it was almost too stressful to watch. I couldn't believe it went to THREE overtimes!! Luckily Morrison put us out of our misery early in the 3rd OT! ;D
GO CANUCKS GO!!

You know, it's a cycle, they are really good, then really bad, I guess you can never predict!
I hope they at least win this part, it would get them quite a good spot! Oh well! I'll keep my fingers crossed! I'm going to the pub tonight to watch the game, it will be totally NUTS! A real FRENZIE!
Hey Kim, it seems we're mostly going for 2 teams on this board, the Canucks and the Canadians, it would really be funny if we were to play against each other, they're would be fighting on the boards! heheh!

San Jose.....I don't know if the Canucks would have pulled that one off anyway, but I would have given them more of a shot against San Jose than I give Calgary against Detroit. Hope I'm wrong! Lord Stanley in Vancouver 2005........I guess

Tonight's the big night : the Canadians start their second round against Tampa Bay.
Here's my opinion, A team should never win the Stanley cup if there is no snow in that area!! Really, I mean is jsut common sense!
So go HABS go (I tried to get tickets but they sold out in an hour!)

Yup, it's just plain wrong to have hockey players win if it's not a snowy town hahahah! Never thought of that Marie, but i like the thought of it!

Kim, You are soo awesome! And everyone writing in this topic! Travelers and hockey fans, doesn't get any better than that! I've played hockey since I was 6, and played here in Detroit! So, I'm guessing most of you are from Canada(now), and I would go over there all the time for tournaments and things!

the cup did not seem to find it's way back to canada tonight, snif!
I was so sure it was going to be Calgary in 7!! BUT, at least there are a whole bunch Québec guys celebrating in Tampa tonight so all is not completly lost!!
Can wait till we start up again next year!!

The Stanley Cup finals are always quite interesting for Canada, no matter what teams are there cause we have so many of our home players out there in every team! We're the best no matter who gets the cup! hahah xoxo Jen
