I love it, I love it, just cause I can see cool places, ok, briefly, but still!
I am so glad too cause it's at 930 (eastern time right?) so even if I work that night, I'm home in time to watch it!
you can bet this website will be empty on wednesday nights as we will all be posted onto our tvs! xoxo Jen

I was really excited.....but have read a few reviews and now am hesitant and reserving judgement. Seems several of the teams are comprised of former 'reality show' losers....couple from past Big Brother among others if I recall. To me the fun of this show was having some average joe's who basically had never traveled much trying to figure this all out. Last year it was so pat...there really was no initiative or surprises. They all basically had only one way to go, they all went the exact same way, really the only way they could go given the route they were given.....I don't know, it lost the spontenaity (sp) and challenge if you will. I'll be watching, but have minimum hopes. Sad...it is a great concept.

I'm excited - sadly enough, I love a good reality TV show. I will be watching both Big Brother and Amazing Race tonight!
Only one of the teams is from another show and I have to give her credit, she's a stubborn fighter - she will probably do well. That was soon to be husbands pick in the pool, I got Charla and Mirna. I picked them as I think their multiple languages will come in handy.

Hey!
Well i must say after watching Big Brother, it may be interesting, but I think they really went overboard with the Project DNA and all the hunks, come on, normal people anyone, it seems like a dating agency!?
For TAR I kind of liked it, I'm not sure yet, but I think some teams have a really great spirit and personnality. The father/daughter teams seams to be well rounded!
Well, we'll see!
It plays only one a week right?

yawn.....same as last year, 2 flights, everyone going the exact same place at the same time. Still, I will watch, faithfully and curse the waste of time no doubt later. Of course I am rooting for the Army Dad and his daughter...not only Army but from Jacksonville! A 'home town' team to cheer for adds to the interest. I also like the team with the 'little woman' but can't hold out much hope for them. They are wise and educated but I fear her disadvantage in physical things might hurt them too much. I really, really disliked, almost on sight, the twins!!! Oh, and I have to like the older internet dating couple and the computer store owners couple as well. In fact, actually, there were quite a few teams I could find myself cheering for...and a few I hope go away soon!

oooh....and I liked the pizza owner brothers too....dead on easy to tell they eat a LOT of pizza but they were fun. Most of the engaged/were engaged/almost engaged couple I could do without....especially the 'god will lead us' ones. Appreciate everyone's own faith and ways to show it, just don't preach to the population at large over something so silly, annoys me....But the same sex and older couples I enjoyed....except those darn twins!!!

Don't know why, the twins didn,t get to me either, except they were nice enough to go after the other team at the airport!

Checked their official site, here.....http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race5/ and it doesn't say anything about it being repeated again. I think that repeat of the first episode was a one time only thing to try and capture more viewers. Can't you tape it girl??? If not, you will be able to get a pretty detailed synopsis on this site tomorrow, including several video clips.
